Its been ages seen I've updated this... March 08?? i tink i should update before I go off to camp and start sch and yeahh forget all that has happen during these good times...
Its nearing the end of july.. definitely a good 8 months Ive had. Everyone going their separate ways but we know deep down inside that the memories we had will never change. Memories, that's something no one can take away.
The whole 8 months was filled with fun, anticipation, anxiety, disappointment and subsequently hope and optimism.
Fun: hello, its the holidays you are suppose to have fun!! Didn't really get to travel the whole world but hey.. I had a few fulfilling trips to KL, Port Dickson (Malaysia) and last but not least HK.
Anticipation and anxiety: Well, I wasn't confident about getting good grades. I did not put in that kind of effort I did back in secondary school.. so much for proving my mettle at the finishing line.. I finished the race but did not finish strong.
Disappointment: A level grades? I really wanted to be a doctor... but the B for the chem saw to the disintegration of my dreams. Put up a brave front but inside I was just bleeding. Well life goes on.. I am proud of my friend who managed to get into NUS med, De Roza.. Its been a good 2 years spent with you and I am glad that you are able to fulfill your dreams.. No more ponning lectures and tutorials (you should know better =P)
God knows what is best for me! Even though I have been a christian for ermmm 18 years I still have to psyche myself into believing that. There are times of doubt but I get the necessary encouragement for me to believe that it is true. School of Accountancy, that is where I am going to spend the next 4 years in.. not a glamourous course and subsequently job.. And its funny how most smu acc students are not aspiring to be accountants..
Seriously, I thought acc was gona be an easy course. I was told otherwise. They said its tough and you have to work hard zzzz... But then again, which course in uni does not require you to give a 110%?
Camps
So far I have attended the SMU sports Camp and Asoc (faculty camp) still got 2 more to go (Campus Crusade for Christ Camp) and my FTB sheesh.. and they are back to back.. which really sucks.. have to rush home to do laundry haha
I have enjoyed all the camps so far. Made quite alot of new friends and I can forsee myself having good times with them. There were quite alot of drinking in the sports and Asoc camp. Im in love with Bailey's thats about all.. I really wanted to try my faci's B51 (XXX concoction) but I wasn't feeling well and really did not intend on spreading the "love" (flu bug) to them. They were all drinking out of the same cup la.. I requested a straw but soon learn tt one would get drunk faster.. haha but at 2 am i succumbed to the temptation of Bailey's and started playing some thumb game.. FUN.. but i went to sleep ard 3am and they continued till 6 am..hopefully no one caught my flu like sheryl says: alcohol kills everything??
